The Milton Keynes Raynet Group is a member of
The Radio Amateurs' Emergency Network,
a voluntary organisation that provides communications at
times of national and international emergencies.To prepare ourselves for such an incident we undertake training at our monthly meetings and by providing communications to assist organisations such as St John Ambulance Brigade, The British Red Cross and even the local council Emergency Planning Office.
We provide comunications for these organisations at events such as marathons, scout hikes and during endurance horse and sponsored cycle rides as part of our ongoing training.
